Smart Media Albums (NFC-enabled physical formats) are chart-eligible in Germany, under the rules of the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI) and compiled by GfK Entertainment.
ZATAP has already delivered dozens of chart-eligible releases in Germany, several of them charting at #1.
BVMI and GfK Entertainment remain the source of truth on these rules. When in doubt, confirm directly with GfK Entertainment (see Contacts below).
